John Myers Huff

John M. Huff, 74, 414 Highland Ridge Road, Myrtle Beach, SC, died Sunday, April 22, 2007 at Waccamaw Community Hospital, Murrells Inlet, SC. Mr. Huff was a Johnson City, TN native and had lived in Myrtle Beach for the past eleven years. He was a son of the late William and Mae Foister Huff. Mr. Huff was retired from the US Air Force as a Senior Master Sgt. after thirty-six years of service. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Correia Huff, Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Alma Hyder and her husband Gerald, Johnson City and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Military graveside services for Mr. Huff will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 12:30 PM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Reverend Harold McNabb will officiate. Pallbearers will be Paul Furches, Oscar Neill, Jim Payne, Jim Fields, T.P. Webb and Bob Huff. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Greenwood Baptist Church, C/O James Woodard, 3275 Greenwood Drive, Johnson City, TN 37604.
