John Paul Ronald Pincince

August 18, 1934 — February 20, 2015

John P. R. Pincince, 80, of Johnson City, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at NHC HealthCare. John was born in Palmer, MA and was a son of the late Elphage and Antoinette Pincince. John served in the US Navy. He graduated from Mount Saint Charles Academy in Rhode Island and American International College in Springfield, MA. He was an executive at Combustion Engineering in Connecticut, Gray Tool in Houston, TX, and Nuclear Fuel Services in Erwin, TN. John was also an enthusiastic sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and motorcycling. He was an active participant in all phases of life. His greatest love was his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Jane, Lillian, Ruth, and Roger. He is survived by: his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara; three sons, Mark, of Dallas, TX, Craig and his wife Carol, of Dallas, TX, and Eric and his wife LuCi, of Franklin, TN; and four grandchildren, Brooke, Will Tanner, Michael John, and Jessica. The family of John P. R. Pincince will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at St. Marys Catholic Church. Funeral mass will follow at 1:00 pm. The family would like to give a special thank you to their special friends Doris Johnson and Ed Cash for their support, friendship, and love. The family would also like to thank NHC HealthCare for their exceptional care and love. In lieu of flowers, John preferred memorials to be sent to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
