Joseph Roger Charest, of Fairfield Glade, Tennessee passed away on October 21, 2024, and was born on June 21, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Edward and Alida Charest. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Charest and Paul Charest, sister, Theresa Isaccason, and sister-in-law, Peggy Charest.
He is survived by his loving wife Alice, brother, Joseph Norman Charest, son, Paul Charest and Laurie Trombino; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Lauren, Austin, Cherish, and one great-granddaughter, Dylan Rose, and one great-grandson, Wyatt Joseph Charest.
Roger graduated from the Shrine of the little flower in Royal Oak, Michigan. He worked in the food industry for 44 years, working his way from store manager to district manager and product manager. He spent two years in the United States Army from 1958 until 1960. He was stationed in Germany for 18 months. He loved golf and yard work, and also his dog, Boogie.
A Celebration Life will be held in Royal Oak, Michigan at a later date.
