Josephine Elenora Vines

Josephine Elenora 'Jo Ellen'? Vines, age 87, of Johnson City passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 in the St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. Mrs. Vines was born in Nashville, Tennessee, a daughter of James Edward Drake and Katherine Cowan Meroney Drake. She was a member of the Locust Street Church of Christ, in Johnson City, TN and a member of Connecticut Valley Church of Christ while residing in Simsbury, Connecticut. Mrs. Vines was preceded in death by her husband, William I. 'Bill'? Vines and her brother, Albert Nelson Drake. She is survived by her daughter Katherine Vines Trumbull and her son-in-law Peter B. Trumbull, of Simsbury, CT, her granddaughter Elizabeth Ellen Cook of Houston, TX and her grandson Matthew William Cook of Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the South Chapel with J. Richard Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
