Joyce Ann Gobble

Joyce Ann Gobble, 57, of Piney Flats, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bristol, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Roby Davis and Edith Hilliard Potter. Joyce worked as a supply tech with Mountain State Health Alliance for fourteen years. She attended Piney Flats First Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her husband, Wiley M. Gobble, of the home; son, Curtis Ray Blankenship, his wife Erin and son Ethan of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Nancy Carolyn Canter, her husband Wiley Joe of Bluff City, TN; niece Karen Shumate and family of Johnson City, TN; brother, Larry Wayne Widener and Amy of Bristol, TN; nephew Christopher Widener and family of Bristol, TN. The family of Joyce Gobble will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Piney Flats First Baptist Church, 100 Cherry St, Piney Flats, TN 37686. The Reverend Dr. Allen Davis will officiate. A committal service will be conducted at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at Washington County Memory Gardens. Friends and family are asked to gather at the graveside by 8:50 AM. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
