Judy Garst

Mrs. Judy Garst, age 82, of Elizabethton, passed away, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Garst was a native of Jackson, Ohio who had lived most of her life in Elizabethton. She was the daughter of the late Noah Mossbarger and Ella Faye Massey Mossbarger. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by one son, Donnie G. Gibson; one brother, William Mossbarger; one sister, Ruth Sherman. Mrs. Garst retired from the Asbury Center where she worked as a CNA. Survivors include: two daughters, Carolyn Howington and her husband Joe of Unicoi and Sandy Price and her husband Tony of Elizabethton; three sons, Roger Gibson and his wife Edna of Hawley, Texas, Dale Gibson and his wife Linda of Elizabethton and Johnny H. Gibson and his wife Donna of Hampton; eleven grandchildren. The funeral service for Mrs. Judy Garst will be conducted at 8 PM Friday, October 28, 2011 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Johnny Hilton will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday prior to the service.
