Junia Mae Florence

March 20, 1922 — April 9, 2011

Junia Mae Kinser Florence, 89, of Johnson City, TN, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the National Health Care Center of Johnson City. She was a native of Walkerville, Greene County, Illinois, and daughter of the late Otho Wayne and Ethel Early Kinser. She was a member of the Skyline Heights Baptist Church in Johnson City and was active and supportive of many missions projects and activities. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil R. Florence, a son, Ronald R. Florence, and three brothers, Claude Kinser, Kenneth E. Kinser, and R. Wayne Kinser. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Annette M. Florence of Unicoi, TN; a daughter, Mary M. Florence of Johnson City, TN; a sister, Mary L. Munzebrock of Carrollton, IL; a sister-in-law, Ann Kinser, of Carrollton, IL; five grandchildren, Lyan (& Tammy) Florence, Daniel Florence, Erin Florence, Cori Florence and Jamie Florence; three great grandchildren, James (& Amber) Florence, Jonathan Florence and Jessica Florence; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Florence Kernohan of Forrestville, CA. Mrs. Florence will be interred with her husband in Crestlawn Memorial Park, Riverside, CA. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: Skyline Heights Baptist Church, Missions Programs, 1601 Skyline Drive, Johnson City, TN 37604.
