Kathleen Vivian Hill, 69, Johnson City, was called home to the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2016, while in the loving arms of her husband, Kenneth. Born April 7, 1946, she was a Johnson City native, daughter of the late Rev. Theodore and Gladys Black Fleenor. Kathleen was a member of Rich Acres Free Will Baptist Church. She served the Lord many years assisting in Bible School for the youth as well as teaching Sunday School classes. Kathleen was retired from Appalachian Bible Distributing Company. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Fleenor Bradford. Survivors include: husband, Kenneth Hill, of Johnson City; three children, Amy Knight, and her husband Chris, of Johnson City, Dedra Winter, and her husband Eric, of Concord, NC, and Randel Hill, of Kingsport; and seven grandchildren, Emily Knight, and her fianc?e Cory Hyder, Megan Knight, Jordan Winter, Savannah Winter, Cody Hill, Calee-Ann Hill and Jacob Hill. The family extends special thanks to the members of Rich Acres Free Will Baptist Church, the staff of Cornerstone Village of Johnson City, and Caris Hospice Care for their love and great care. Friends are welcome to visit at the home of Kenneth Hill, 109 Hill Rd, Johnson City, TN 37601. The family of Kathleen Hill will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Rich Acres Free Will Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow with at 7:00 PM with Rev. Kenneth Grindstaff officiating. Pallbearers will be: Chris Knight, Eric Winter, Jordan Winter, Cody Hill, Jacob Hill, Gary Fleenor and Cory Hyder. Friends and family are asked to meet at Morris-Baker Funeral Home by 10:30 AM to go in procession to Monte Vista Memorial Park for 11:00 AM graveside services.
