Kathy Darlene Coffey, 47, of 361 Malone Road, Watauga, TN died Sunday November 22, 2009 at her residence. Kathy was a native of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late James William and Willie Maxine Dugger Hoilman. She was a homemaker and attended the Hawthorne Church of the Brethren. Kathy is preceded in death by: her parents; and one special brother-in-law Lee Boyer. Survivors include: her fiancée, Lawrence H. Hyatt of the home; a son, Tony James and wife Lisa Hyatt of Johnson City; a daughter, Melinda Haun of Johnson City; one step-son, Daniel Hyatt of Watauga; two step-daughters, Jessica Hyatt of Gray and Kimberly Hyatt of Johnson City; two brothers, Carl Hoilman and fiancée Gloria Stines and Jerry Hoilman, all of Johnson City; two sisters, Linda Boyer of Front Royal, VA and Tammy Hoilman of Watauga; a special friend, George Coffey of Gray; five grandchildren, Tony James 'Boo'? Hyatt, Johnathan Haun, Adam Haun, Jacob Haun and Tyler Hyatt; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service for Kathy Darlene Coffey will be conducted Friday, November 27, 2009 at 2 PM in the Community Cemetery near Hawthorne Church of the Brethren. Rev. Hollace Ford will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from friends and family. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Friday before going in procession to the cemetery.
