Kathy Diane Frye

Mrs. Kathy Diane Frye, age 63, of Johnson City passed away Monday, December 30, 2013, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Frye was a lifelong resident of Washington County. She was the daughter of the late David D. and Neal Hyder Miller. In addition to her parents one brother, James David Miller also preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Wesley Morefield and Joseph Morefield; one brother, Kenneth Miller and his wife Brenda; one sister, Sandra Blevins; one grandson, and a very special friend, Pearl Frye. The family would like to express a special thank you to the Johnson City Medical Center ICU staff and to the Erwin Healthcare Center. The family of Mrs. Kathy Diane Frye will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 PM Thursday, January 2, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will follow in the South Chapel at 8 PM. Pastor Richard Hilton will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 1 PM Friday in the Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Dwayne Letterman, Shannon Lowe, Kenneth W. Miller, Tony Johnson, Lynn Bachman and Kenny Bonner. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Gaddy and Tony Johnson. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 12:15 PM Friday to go in procession to the cemetery.
