Kathy Lee Graves, 65, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Andersonville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late J.C. and Bonnie Graves. In her youth, Kathy enjoyed athletic pursuits like playing basketball, softball, and volleyball for the city league. She enjoyed sewing and loved to spend time with her animals. Kathy worked as the Assignment Coordinator in the ETSU housing office for more than forty years. She was also a member of the First Church of the Brethren, where she served as president of Hearts-A-Glow Ministry. In addition to her parents, Kathy Lee is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Graves and Lanny Graves. She is survived by her twin sister, Karen Graves; sister-in-law, Joyce Graves; nephew, Patrick Graves; niece, Megin Graves; great nephews, Alexander Hatmaker and Spenser Hatmaker; close friend, Tim Hatmaker; beloved pets; and special friends in the ETSU housing office. A committal service will be held for Kathy Lee Graves at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Brethren Cemetery on Bart Greene Drive. Pastor Bo Deaton will officiate. A celebration of life will be held following the committal, at First Church of the Brethren, 122 Bart Greene Dr, Johnson City, TN 37615. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington County Johnson City Animal Shelter.
