Myra Kay Taylor, 62, Johnson City, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. Kay was born in Greenville, SC to Ray Eugene and Helen Ruth Bailey Taylor. She was a member of Locust Street Church of Christ. She worked at Texas Instruments and as a licensed cosmetologist. She was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. In her free time, Kay loved to draw and paint. Kay was preceded in death by her grandmother, Eva Bailey Turbyfill. In addition to her parents, survivors include: three sisters, Sherry McKinney, Karen Street and Connie Taylor. The family of Kay Taylor will receive friends from 6 PM until 7 PM Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Morris-Baker. The memorial service will follow at 7 PM with Minister Robbie Ellis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter, 3411 N. Roan St., Johnson City, TN 37601.
