Kelsey Marie Payne, 22, of Jonesborough, died Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of Selena Milhorn and Jamie Payne. Kelsey was a homemaker and mother. She was of the Christian faith. Her maternal grandfathers, Johnny E. Sells and Virgil Letterman and her paternal grandmother, Shirley Payne, preceded her in death. Survivors include: her parents, father and his wife, Jamie and Kim Payne, Johnson City; mother and her fianc?, Selena Milhorn and Eric Sammons of Jonesborough, her stepfather, Chad Milhorn, Chuckey; her children, son, Bryson Harley Steele and daughter, Braylee Jade Eugenia Veatch both of Jonesborough; two sisters, Taylor Milhorn (also best friend she called Tady-Bug) and Emilee Payne; a stepsister, Taylor Sammons; two brothers, Marty Defibaugh and Justin Milhorn; her maternal grandmothers, Mary E. Sells and Brenda Milhorn; paternal grandfather, Ray Payne; best friend and fianc?, Matthew Veatch; special childhood friends, Charlie English, Brandon, Keisha and Kipper Casey, Jordy Fender and Tessa Whitson; a special aunt, Sandra Morefield, special aunt and uncle, Janie and Danny Casey. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2015 at 8:00 pm in the Dogwood chapel of the Morris ? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Pastor Bill Burrows. Janie Casey and McKenzie Hyder will provide special music. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until time of service at 8:00 pm. A committal service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble by 10:30am to leave in procession from the funeral home to cemetery on Tuesday. Their grandmother will administer a trust fund for Bryson and Braylee; memorials may be made c/o Mary E. Sells, 430 Gray Station Road, Gray, TN 37615.
