Kenneth Harold Cole, Sr.

Jeremiah 6:16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. Kenneth H. Cole, Sr., 77, of Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Erwin Healthcare facility in Erwin. He was a native of Carter County and a son of the late, Roy Brown Cole and Mary Alice Grindstaff Cole, also preceding him was one brother, Leslie B. Cole. Kenneth was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was a retired Research Analyst for Eastman Chemical Co. Survivors include; his wife, Barbara Cole; one son, Kenneth H. Cole, Jr. and his wife Dee Dee of Kingsport; one brother, Doran Cole of Elizabethton. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday from Oak Hill Cemetery in Johnson City. Rev. Joe Beaver will officiate. Burial will follow the service. Pallbearers will be Walter Nave, Jesse Mitchell, Larry Hendrix, Richard D. Nave, John Wilson, Larry Miller and Ryan Miller. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:30 pm on Saturday.
