Kenny Allen Winchester

Kenny Allen Winchester, 64, of Johnson City, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center.He was a native of Buchanan County, VA and a son of Lottie Winchester of Oakwood, VA and the late, Frank Winchester, Jr. He was also preceded by one sister, Yohallo Short. He was a member of Higher Ground Holiness Church.Survivors, in addition to his Mother, include; his wife, Pamela Winchester; one step daughter, Amy Elizabeth Spencer of Johnson City; one step son, Aaron Jerome Spencer of Johnson City; 2 sisters, Sandra Sue Cox of Vansant, VA and Phyllis Ann Winchester of Elizabethton; four brothers, Harry David Winchester of Liberty, SC, Billy Wayne Winchester of Oakwood, VA, Bobby Lee Winchester of Claypool Hill, VA and Larry Wade Winchester of Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews and many friends.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Rev. Travis Matney and Dr. Phillip Peterson will officiate. Burial services will be conducted Wednesday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park at 1:00 pm. Pallbearers will be David Winchester, Tim Cox, Wayne Winchester, Bobby Winchester, Jr., Nick Winchester, Fred Short, Jr., Tracy Davidson and Nick Deskins. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Spencer, Wayne Niddifer, Dan Winchester, Billy Winchester, Bobby Winchester, Larry Winchester and Phil Peterson. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 12:30 on Wednesday and proceed to the cemetery. The family suggests, for those who wish, memorial contributions be made to, Higher Ground Holiness Church, 246 Knob Creek Dock Road, Johnson City, TN 37601. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday.
