Larry D. Guinn

Larry D. Guinn, Sr., 59, of Watauga, TN, died Thursday, March 28, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Guinn was a Banner Elk, NC native and a son of the late Edward George and Vannie Puckett Guinn. He was a former driver for Transit-Mix Concrete. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Guinn. Survivors include: son, Larry D. Guinn, Jr., Elizabethton; three daughters, Heather Renee Guinn, Gray, Lindsey Kay Guinn, Elizabethton, and Melissa Gayle Guinn, Johnson City; two brothers, Lester and Charles Guinn, both of Elizabethton; sister, Patricia Guinn, Florida; and twelve grandchildren. The family of Larry D. Guinn, Sr. will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. Following the visitation, family and friends will proceed to Lyons Chapel Cemetery for graveside services. Pastor Eddie Booth and Pastor Jody Jenkins will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
