Larry Scott Richmond

Larry Scott Richmond, 74, Jonesborough, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Life Care Center of Gray. Mr. Richmond was a Rock Creek, WV native and son of the late Esco and Janis Jarrell Richmond. Mr. Richmond retired from Shell Oil in Cleveland, OH after 30 years of employment. In addition to his parents, Mr. Richmond is preceded in death by: one sister, Patsy Ruth Pettry; and one brother, Billy Joe Richmond. Survivors include: his wife of 56 years, Joyce Richmond; two sons, Michael Scott Richmond and his wife Ann, of Cleveland, OH, and Esco Brian Richmond and his wife Sabrina, of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Steven, Amy and Brian Richmond, of San Antonio, TX; and loved by many extended family members. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Courtyards Senior Living and The Life Care Center of Gray for their special care. The family of Larry Richmond will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Steve Pate officiating. Family and friends will meet at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV for 2:00 graveside services on Sunday, with Rev. Dean Adams officiating.
