Larry Wayne Campbell

Mr. Larry 'Bud'? Campbell, 65, 803 Kentucky Street, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday February 2, 2011 with his wife, children and loved ones by his side. Larry had resided at the Life Care Center of Elizabethton since January. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Mr. Campbell was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. He was the son of the late Austin Campbell and Pearl Sheets Campbell. In addition to his parents three sisters, Edna Mae Bootle, Frances Riddle and Jean Renfro; one brother, Bill Campbell also preceded him in death. Mr. Campbell was retired from the Johnson City Housing Authority. Survivors include: the love of his life for over forty-four years his wife Nora Elizabeth Campbell of the home; one daughter, Angela Holly of Johnson City; one son, Randy Campbell and his wife Jennifer of Elizabethton; four sisters, Louellen Taylor and her husband Wayne of Johnson City, Joan Williams of Jonesborough, Delores Castle of Amory, Mississippi and Ruby Hunter and her husband Robert of Adrian, Michigan; three grandchildren, Joshua Holly, Kayla Holly and Logan Yost. Larrys Chihuahua Cassie had filled his life with so much pleasure for the last six years. The family of Larry Campbell would like to place a special thank you to Janice Hughes and LaRhonda Hummer for all they did in his final days. Also, we would like to send out a special thank you for the exceptional care he received from all the staff at the Life Care Center Elizabethton Tennessee. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker from 12 noon to 1 PM Saturday prior to the service. Friends and family are welcome to visit the Campbell Home anytime @ 803 Kentucky Street. A graveside service for Mr. Larry 'Bud'? Campbell will be conducted at 1:15 PM Saturday, February 5, 2011 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Perry Markland will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
