Laura Laws

Laura 'Janie' Laws, 54, 115 Woodlawn Drive, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center. Ms. Laws was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late David Herbert Laws and Margaret Hayes Laws. Ms. Laws was a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Steve Guinn, Johnson City; nephews, Heath Guinn and Adam Guinn both of Johnson City; great niece, Kaley Guinn, Johnson City; aunt and uncle, Bill and Ruby Stevens, Johnson City and several cousins. A graveside funeral service for Laura 'Janie' Laws, will be held at 12:30 PM Monday, July 18, 2005 at Washington County Memory Gardens. Reverend Steve Guinn and Reverend Donald Page will officiate. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, Monday, at the funeral home.
