Lawrence Richard Love

Lawrence 'Larry'? Love, 85, of Johnson City, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Glendale, Massachusetts, son of the late Martin B. and Mary Elizabeth Spaulding Love. Larry was a former Assistant Superintendant for the Meade Corporation. He later developed and managed a 41-acre campground in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. Larry was a veteran of WWII having served in the U. S. Army in the European Theatre. He loved yodeling, hunting and children. In addition to his parents, several brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Survivors include: his wife of sixty years, June Ariail Love of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Terry Lee and John McKinnon of Johnson City; a son, Gary Richard Love of Johnson City; five grandchildren, Adam Hall, Amy Rule, Matthew Love, Kyle Love and Shauna Love; four great grandchildren. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Gerald Malcolm. The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm. Friends and family are welcome to visit at the home following the service at: 1700 Tee Ct., Johnson City, TN 37601.
