Leanne Morgan Hilliard

A memorial service for LeAnne Morgan Hilliard, 41, of Johnson City, Tenn., will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The Rev. Lon Tobin will officiate. Mrs. Hilliard, who died Thursday, Dec. 6, at her home, was a Johnson City native and daughter of Edna Carolyn May Morgan of Johnson City and the late Ronald Lee Morgan. She attended Science Hill High School and East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. Mrs. Hilliard was last employed as general manager of Rugged Wearhouse in Johnson City, and previously held various other retail positions. A devoted wife and mother, she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her childrens sports events. Besides her father, Mrs. Hilliard was preceded in death by a brother, James Brian Morgan. Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Doug Hilliard, whom she married on July 15, 2003; two children, Brandon Jacob-Lee Koharik and Callie Morgan Koharik, both of the home; one brother, Jeffrey Lee Morgan and wife Mary Beth of Gray, Tenn.; a nephew, Christopher Todd Morgan of Gray, Tenn.; her father- and mother-in-law, Jerry and Carol Hilliard of Salem, Ohio; a brother-in-law and his wife, Mike and Melanie Hilliard of Limestone, Tenn.; and three stepchildren, Zak Hilliard of Akron, Ohio; and Mollee and Madison Hilliard of Franklin, Tenn. Friends may visit at Morris-Baker Funeral Home from 2 to 3 PM Wednesday prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made toward a trust fund being established for the childrens education through Bank of America in the name of Callie Koharik, in care of Jeff Morgan, 285 Ridgeview Drive, Gray, and Tn. 37615.
