Lee Goodman

Mr. Lee Goodman, 90, of Johnson City, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015, in Princeton Transitional Care, Johnson City. Mr. Goodman was a native of Washington County. He was the son of the late Hubert Lee and Trula Baker Goodman. Mr. Goodman worked as a mixer for General Shale. He was a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, his wife, Avis Myers Goodman, and two sisters, Carrie Stoots and Ruth Goodman, preceded him in death. Survivors include: one niece, Jeannie Fillers and her husband Robert; one nephew, Marlyn Stoots and his wife Janie; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several great nieces and nephews. The family of Mr. Lee Goodman will receive friends from 1 pm until 2 pm Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Morris-Baker Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2 pm Monday in the Chapel. Rev. Curtis Hurt will officiate. The graveside committal service will follow in the New Bethel Cemetery, Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
