Leon Howard Milligan, 70, 4347 Lebanon Road, Hermitage died Friday, September 23, 2005 in the McKendree Health Care in Hermitage. Mr. Milligan was a native of Johnson City and had lived in the Nashville area for more then forty years. He was a son of the late George W. and Ethel Lafollette Milligan. He was a retired printer with the John T. Benson Printing Co. in Nashville. Mr. Milligan was an Air Force veteran and a member of the American Legion in Nashville. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by: his parents; three sisters, Gladys Milligan, Fannie Barnett and Loretta Click; three brothers, Junior Milligan, Billy Milligan and Clell Milligan. Survivors include: one son, Barry Milligan ; one daughter, Cindy Milligan; four sisters, Mary Ruth Freeman of Johnson City, Betty Hicks of Jonesborough, Dot Jones of Greeneville, and Jeanette Hodge of Piney Flats. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside funeral service for Leon H. Milligan will be conducted at 2 PM Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Rev. Mike Pelham will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home from 3 to 4 PM Sunday.
