Linda Ann Smile

Mrs. Linda Ann Smile, age 71, 1505 Baxter Street, Johnson City, went home to be with our Lord and savior, at 1PM on Saturday, June 25, 2011, she was surrounded by her children, grandchildren and loved ones. Mrs. Smile was a native of Damascus, Syria. She was the daughter of the late Mamdouh Atrash and Radeh Atrash. In addition to her parents her husband, Jaber Smile and one son, Tony Smile, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Smile was a member of First Christian Church in Johnson City. Survivors include: one daughter, Dianne Monforte of Johnson City; four sons, Al Smile of Charlotte, North Carolina, Scott Smile, Sammy Smile and Larry Swift all of Bristol; one step-son, Jamile Smile; thirteen grandchildren, Ellen Pace, Chasity Stiltner, Scotty Smile, Ashleigh Smile, Amanda Smile, Matt Smile, Eric Smile, AJ Smile, Britney Swift, Kayla Swift, Trey Swift, Amber Smile and Contessa Smile; five great grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. The funeral services for Mrs. Linda Ann Smile will be conducted at 1:30 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Mr. John Marr will officiate. The graveside committal service will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Kingsport, Tn. Active pallbearers will be James Bo Eastridge, Steve Eastridge, Danny Eastridge, Jason Hahn, Johnny Lane and Michael Monforte. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 29, 2011 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, North Carolina 27710.
