Linda Ann Sweeney

Linda Ann Sweeney, 60, of 342 Conklin Road, Jonesborough, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late John Argil Crowe and Mrs. Fleeta Christine Barnes Crowe. Linda was a retired territory manager for the Gibson Greetings Cards and Premier Greetings Company. She was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church. Survivors include: her two sons, Joshua Sweeney and Zachary Joseph Sweeney both of Watauga; her mother, Christine Crowe of Jonesborough; two brothers, Larry Crowe of Johnson City and Charlie Crowe of Memphis; her grandson, Jacob Richard Sweeney of Elizabethton and her best friend, Jim Sweeney of Elizabethton; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, May 30, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Ken Hauser. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight.
