Linda Gail Webster Saylor, 54, 716 E. Maple Street, Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2005, in the Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport. Mrs. Saylor was a native of Washington, D.C., and had lived in Johnson City since 1952. She was a daughter of the late Roland E. and Jessie Marie Carter Webster. Mrs. Saylor was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: her husband, Wesley A. Saylor, of the home; one daughter and son-in-law, Angela and David L. Mordan Jr., of Bridgeport, W.Va.; two sons, Phillip Paul Smith, of Kingsport, and John Michael Baker, of Georgia; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon M. and David Owens, of St. Augustine, FL.; four grandchildren, Jacob MacDonald, Derek MacDonald, Ashley Mordan and Jessica Mordan and other grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Mrs. Saylor will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial gifts be sent to St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude?s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
