Linda Hodges Nave

Linda Hodges Nave, 80, of Gray, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, March 30, 2018. She was born in Washington County, and was the daughter of Gilbert and Pauline Hodges. Linda was a graduate of Boones Creek High School and Steed College of Business. She and her husband, Johnny Nave, co-founded Nave?s Auto Sales, which they owned and operated for over fifty years. She was a lifelong member of Hales Chapel Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Johnny Nave. Survivors include: her daughter, Karen Nave; one sister, Paulette Hodges; nephew, Bryan Malone and his wife Shuree; great niece and nephew, Beth and Chad Malone; and her loving great aunt Imogene Jobe. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her loyal friend and caregiver, Holly Milhorn. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hales Chapel Christian Church, 280 Hales Chapel Road, Johnson City, 37615 or to the Washington County Animal Shelter, 3411 North Roan Street, Johnson City 37601. The family of Linda Nave will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM on Monday, April 2, 2018 in the sanctuary of Hales Chapel Christian Church. The funeral service will follow at 7:30 PM with Ministers Clinton Andrews and Randle Johnson officiating. A committal service will be conducted at Washington County Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Family and friends are asked to gather at the graveside by 9:50 AM Tuesday.
