Linkes J. Leonard

Linkes J. Leonard, 90, formerly of 221 Malone Hollow Road, Jonesborough, died Friday, September 15, 2006 at the Appalachian Christian Village in Johnson City. He was a native and lifelong Washington County resident, and a son of the late Jake and Bertha Andes Leonard. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Hobart S. Leonard, Robert W. Leonard and Charles L. Leonard also by one sister, Bonnie King. Mr. Leonard retired from Burlington Industries after 40 years of service. He was also a farmer. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife; Edna M. Leonard; one sister, Frankie Sue Hoard of Orr,MN and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. Burial will follow the service. Rev. D. C.
