Loretta Jean Chance Huffman

Mrs. Loretta Jean (Chance) Huffman, age 63, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at Corner Stone Rehabilitation Facility in Johnson City, TN. Loretta was born in Detroit, MI and raised in Bear Mountain, NC, a daughter of the late Aliceteen Anna Richardson. Loretta was a homemaker that was always there to listen, she loved helping family and others when able. She loved holidays, family gatherings and getting out to enjoy the great outdoors by joy-riding through the country. Some of Lorettas hobbies included online shopping, reading, watching television, and doing word puzzles. In addition to her mother, she was preceded by: her father, Jon Grover Chance, and her sister, Smokey Oler. Those left to cherish the memory of Loretta include: a daughter: Regina Stewart; a son, Jesse Watson; sisters, Lana ?Sue' Peters, Linda Aires, Gloria Burrell, Patricia Lawson; brothers, Bill and Donnie Bear, Bruce, Gordon, and Johnny Chance; grandchildren, Jesse and Adam Bowman, Larry, Rosetta, and Lonny Stewart; Great-Grandson, Atlas; as well as several nieces, nephews and her beloved cats, Phoebe & Nubbins. A visitation service will be held on Friday, September 7th, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.
