Lorraine B. Payne

Lorraine B. Payne, 86, 107 West 12th Avenue, Johnson City, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the NHC HealthCare. Mrs. Payne was a native of Peru, Indiana who had lived in Johnson City most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. H.L. Bish. In addition to her parents her husband Bill Payne also preceded her in death. Mrs. Payne was a Homemaker. She was a member of the St Johns Episcopal Church. Survivors include: one son, Bill Payne, of Pesotum, Illinois; two daughters, Pamela Reed, of Jonesborough and Jill Peeks, of Johnson City; six grandchildren, Nathan Payne, Cambrai Reed, Joshua Reed, Casey Reed, Dustin Peeks and Kaleb Peeks. The graveside service for Lorraine B. Payne will be conducted at 3:15 PM Thursday, January 31, 2008 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Mike Pelham will officiate. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 2 to 3 PM Thursday prior to the service.
