Lorraine Martin Baker, 83, of Herndon, Virginia died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Reston Hospital, Reston, Virginia. She was a native of West Virginia, daughter of the late Elbert K. and Molly Combs Martin. Lorraine was raised in Johnson City and graduated from Science Hill High School and lived many years in Akron Ohio. She was of the Baptist faith, loved to play bingo and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include: a son, Allan James (& his wife Faye) Baker of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; two daughters, Joanne (& her husband Bob) Stone of Las Vegas, Nevada and Jeanne Little (& her husband Al) Clark of Herndon, Virginia; a granddaughter, Melissa Baker of Ohio. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Terry A. Wright. The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Monte Vista Memorial Park following the funeral service on Saturday. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
