Lorraine Moore

Mrs. Lorraine Moore, 88, of Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016, in the Life Care Center of Elizabethton. Mrs. Moore was a native of Baltimore, Maryland but had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Steiner. In addition to her parents, her husband Ford Moore preceded her in death. Survivors include: four sons, Elmer Moore and his wife Donna, Carl Moore and his wife Joyce, James Moore and his wife Robin and Joe Moore; two daughters, Mary Turner and Bernadine Ray and her husband James; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Lorraine Moore will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday, January 16, 2016, in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 8 PM with Rev. Dewey Ward and TJ Parks officiating. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday, in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Gene Penix, Daniel Moore, Hack Arnett, Jackie Ray, Jonathon Ray and Brian Hammonds. Ministers, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 1:15 PM Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
