Lorraine Murphy Franklin

Bobbie Lorraine Franklin (Gang), 81, of Jonesborough, TN went to her heavenly home on Saturday, May 9, 2020.

Born on January 23,1939 in Johnson City, TN. She was the daughter of the late James Murphy and Frances Benfield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Luther Franklin; her granddaughter, Emily Whitson; and stepfather, Ray Benfield.

Those left to cherish her many memories include her five children, Kim Whiston, Andy Franklin, Cherie Jones, Todd Franklin (Patsy), and Lori Whitson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Aaron Whiston, Autumn Bennett, Mark Jones, Tyler Franklin, Ashley Whitson, Adam Franklin, Daniel Franklin, Taylor Whitson, Laura Franklin; and great grandchildren, Jordan Lewis and Lucy Jones.

She was known as Gang Gang to many and for always having a smile and a hug. She loved children and all her fur babies. She was a member of Central Community Christian Church.
