Louis A. Dr. Cancellaro

Dr. Louis Anthony Cancellaro, 79, of Johnson City died at his residence on Wednesday, August 14, 2013. He was a native of New York, New York, son of the late William and Antoinette Costa Cancellaro. Louis was a retired Chief of Staff at the James H. Quillen Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church. Louis was also a member of the Parrish Council, the American College of Psychiatry, Southern Medical Association, and Southern Psychiatric Association. In addition to his parents his special aunt Nettie Cancellaro preceded him in death. Survivors include: his wife Judy Poe Cancellaro of the home: three sons and daughters-in-law, Vito and Tara Cancellaro of Greer, SC, Henry and Jennifer Cancellaro of Scottsdale, AZ and Luigi and Kelma Cancellaro of Naples, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Antoinette Cancellaro and Jordan Durant of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Julia, Cecilia, Lydia and Bianca Cancellaro. A mass will be conducted on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the St. Marys Catholic Church under the direction of Father Peter Iorio. Honorary pallbearers will be: Dr. Phil Bagnell, Judge Peter Behuniak, Mr. Douglas Taylor, Dr. Martin Eason, Vincenzo Vissochi and Dr. Rod Bosca.
