Louise A. Kearley

Louise Atwell Kearley, 86, formerly of Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Holston Manor, Kingsport. Mrs. Kearley was a Marion, Virginia native who had lived in Jonesborough for many years. She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Ethel McClellan Atwell. During her career she worked as a bookkeeper. She and her late husband were long time Sunday School teachers, and their Christian faith was at the center of both of their lives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband of 60 years, Olen Pate Kearley; her son, Burman Keys Kearley; and her brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Lonnie Atwell. Survivors include several cousins, niece, nephews, and a host of special Christian friends. A committal service for Louise A. Kearley will be conducted 10:00 AM Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Evangelist Charles ?Toonie' Cash will officiate. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 9:50 AM Thursday.
