Louise Duncan

Louise Broyles Duncan, 89, of Jonesborough, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2011 at NHC Healthcare in Johnson City.She was a native of Washington County, TN and a daughter of Hubert and Frances Mauk Broyles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Duncan, 2 brothers, Gordon Broyles and Abe Broyles, and 3 sisters, Audrey Crum, Violet Smith and Lillian Broyles.Mrs. Duncan was a member of the Cherokee Baptist Church Survivors include; two sons, Gary Duncan and his wife Linda and Ronnie Duncan and his wife Mary all of Jonesborough; two daughters, Judy Ramsey and her husband Phil of Jonesborough and Sue Frazier and her husband Stan of Knoxville; five Grandchildren; eight Great Grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from the Morris Baker South Chapel, Sunday, May 8, 2011 at 8:00 PM with Dr. Dwight Hobbs officiating. Burial services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday from the Cherokee Baptist Church Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery. For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to the Cherokee Baptist Church, 143 Mayberry Road, Jonesborough, TN 37659. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday.
