M. Lucille Humphrey

Mrs. M. Lucille Humphrey, 83, Piney Flats, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Humphrey was a native of Sullivan County. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dimple Carr Feathers. Mrs. Humphrey was a member of the New Life Tabernacle. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents her husband, Clarence R. Humphrey, Sr.; one son, James Humphrey; one sister, Louise Baker also preceded her in death. Survivors include: four sons, Bill Humphrey, Ray Humphrey, Robert Humphrey and Ross Humphrey; two daughters, Margaret Minga and Dorothy D. White; one sister, Sara Baker; two brothers, J.D. Feathers and Osler Feathers; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. M. Lucille Humphrey will receive friends from 5 to 7 PM Sunday, December 7, 2014, in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow with Rev. Larry Dugger officiating. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Humphrey Family Cemetery, 128 Huffman Hollow Road, Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 9:50 AM Monday.
