Margaret Anne Rich

Margaret Anne Rich, 63, of 2008 Heritage Place, Johnson City, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center following an illness. She was a native Buffalo, New York, daughter of Jessie Dunbar Rich VanTassel and the late Elmer VanTassel. Margaret was a teacher in the Johnson City School System and was a member of the St. John?s Episcopal Church. She had resided here for 24 years and belonged to the Johnson City Senior Citizens and was a writer of children?s literature. Survivors include: her mother, Jessie D. Rich VanTassel, of Buffalo, NY, two sons, Charles 'Chuck' (& his wife Elizabeth) Rich of Conyers, GA and Michael John Rich of Johnson City; a sister, Carol Creighton of Buffalo, NY; five grandchildren, Alex, Lindsay, Kylee, Owen and Isabella and her fiance? George Stanton of Johnson City. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Morris - Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Celebrant George Stanton at 1:00 p.m. Burial is to follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
