Margaret Ellen Reece

Mrs. Margaret Ellen Reece, 83, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at The Christian Care Center. A native of Johnson City, she was the daughter of the late, Dawson and Julia Mabel Taylor McKee. Mrs. Reece was a member of Southside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Grady Paul Reece and two brothers, Richard and Eugene McKee. She is survived by her loving son, Paul 'Keith'? Reece and wife Brenda of Jonesborough; sisters, Doris Stonecipher of Cleveland, Marilyn McCullough of Johnson City; granddaughter, Angela Shelton and husband Adam of Jonesborough; two great grandchildren, Samuel Caleb and Alyssa Nicole Shelton, both of Jonesborough; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Christian Care Center especially Faithway wing for their loving care. The family will receive friends, Tuesday, January 17, from 6:00-8:00pm, at Morris Baker Funeral Home, South Chapel with services following at 8:00pm and the Rev. Jerry Powers officiating. Burial will be held, Wednesday, January 18, 11am, at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
