Margaret Kathryn Bible

Margaret Kathryn Bible, 87, 2003 Waters Edge Drive, died Monday, October 31, 2005 at Wellington Place.Mrs. Bible was a native of Greene County and had lived in the Johnson City area since 1941. She was a daughter of the late Noah and Sally Guinn Crittenden and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ezra Eugene Bible, three brothers, four sisters and one grandchild. Mrs. Bible a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, had taught, for many years, the Margaret Bible Friendship Sunday School Class, was a member and past officer in the Otterbein United Methodist Church Women and a member and past officer in the West Hills Garden Club. She is survived by four daughters, Jane Bible, Tampa, FL, Joyce Bible Denny, Johnson City, Joan B. DeVoti, Greeneville and Judy Bible Wyrick, Knoxville; one brother, Charles 'Chuck' Crittenden, Knoxville; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Bible will be conducted at 10 AM Thursday, November, 3, 2005 at Otterbein United Methodist Church. Reverend Joseph Dowlingsoka and her grandson, Reverend John Miller will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be members of the 'Margaret Bible Friendship Sunday School Class.' The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church, 120 E. Chilhowie Ave., Johnson City, TN 37601.
