Margaret Louise Goodin

Margaret Louise 'Dink'? Goodin, age 79, a former resident of Johnson City died Monday, August 30, 2010 at her daughters home in Asheville, North Carolina. She was born in Johnson City a daughter of the late Thomas Wade Bulla and Dollie L. Oliver Bulla. She was a retired registered nurse from the Johnson City Medical Center and briefly at Northside Hospital. Mrs. Goodin was a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church and remained active in the Grace Free Will Baptist Church Ladies Auxiliary until moving to Asheville in 2002. Mrs. Goodin was preceded in death by her husband James 'Jim'? Goodin, one sister, Frances Bulla Garland, and two brothers, William Bulla and Kenneth Bulla. She is survived by her daughter, Judi McAbee and husband Michael; one son, Keith Hinkle and wife Beverly; two grandsons, Mark Smith and Brandon Hinkle; one step grandson, Dustin McAbee and wife Lisa; two granddaughters, Ashley Haun and husband Kirk and Amie Smith; one step granddaughter, Wendi McAbee; two great grandchildren, Taylor and Alden Haun; two step great grandchildren, Jake and Eli McAbee; two sisters, Linda Kinley of Kingsport, TN, and Lillie Brown of Knoxville, TN; three brothers, David Bulla, Jay Bulla both of Johnson City, and Kyle Bulla of Peachtree City, GA; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, September 1, 2010, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Morris Baker South Chapel. A funeral service for Mrs. Margaret Louise 'Dink'? Goodin will follow at 7:00 pm in the Morris Baker South Chapel with Pastor Curtis Hurt officiating. Burial will be held Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Weise, Karen Greer, and Sue Alvis.
