Margorie Katherine Mcinturff

Mrs. Marge McInturff, 77, of Johnson City, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. McInturff was a native of Limestone who had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Hobart Holt and Lillian Crowder Holt. In addition to her parents one brother, Cecil Holt also preceded her in death. Mrs. McInturff was a beautician for Ethel Church for ten years. She was the owner of Flowers by Marge for over thirty-six years. She was a member of the Clark Street Baptist Church. Survivors include: her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Bob McInturff of the home; one daughter, Kathy McInturff of Johnson City; one sister, Carolyn Palmer and her husband Allen of Orlando, Florida; one brother, Hugh Holt and his wife Joan of Orlando, Florida; the family pet Dog Molly. A memorial service for Mrs. Marge McInturff will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday March 10, 2011 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. George Hall and Rev. Paul Crowe will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tn. 38105.
