Mary Ann Blevins Collett, 67, of Watauga, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson City, daughter of the late Ray Wallace and Stella Clark Blevins. Mary was a homemaker and member of the Princeton Free Will Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Charlie Collett in 2003; a son James 'Eddie'? Perkins; a sister, Rebecca Hyatt; three brothers, LeRoy, Don and Jerry Blevins. Survivors include: two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa and James Fields and Karen Cretsinger all of Watauga; a daughter-in-law, Pam Perkins of Johnson City; a sister-in-law, Jeanie Blevins of Johnson City; three grandchildren, Jamie and David Spears both of Watauga and Jimmy Perkins of Johnson City; a special friend, Brenda Carpenter; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. Randy English. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. A committal service will be conducted on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mt. Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Todd and Dallas Blevins, Joey Nickels, Robert Hickman, Roy Fields, Matthew Bennett, David Hartley and Brian Briggs.
