Mary Ann Peterson

Mary Ann Peterson, 69, of Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, TN and a daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Baker and Mary Wanda Collins Baker. She was also preceded by two brothers Larry and Wayne Baker. Survivors include; three daughters, Tywania Moffitt of Sandy Ridge, NC, Tonya Moody and her husband Gary, Jackie Broome-Peevyhouse and her husband John all of Johnson City; one son, Jeff King and his wife, Desi of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Kayla Ann Moffitt, Cody Moffitt, Caira Moody, Logan Moody, Mason Broome, Mary Sierra Broome and Gabriel Moody; two sisters, Brenda Jones and her husband Danny of Maryville, TN and Debbie Woods and her husband J. R. of Johnson City; two brothers, Gene Baker and his wife Jeanie of Jonesborough and Louis Baker and his wife Rosie of Johnson City; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday from the Morris-Baker North Chapel. Dr. Dan Walker will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday.
