Mary Eugenia Rigsby Sells

Mary Eugenia Rigsby Sells, 75, of Johnson City, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mary was native and lifelong resident of Gray Station. She was a daughter of the late Eugene ?Cole' Rigbsy. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith and was a firm believer of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Johnny Edward Sells; caregiver, Louise ?Weeden' Rigsby; and granddaughter, Kelsey Payne. Survivors include: three sons, Dexter E. Sells, Dale Travis Letterman and his partner Reece Hall, and Johnny McNeal Sells; two daughters, Tammy Lynn Sells and Selena Milhorn and her husband Eric Sammons; two grandchildren, Rusty Sells and Taylor Milhorn; two great grandchildren, Bryson Steele and Braylee Vectch; two brothers, Jimmy Dean Rigsby and Lewin Morris Rigsby; and her ?bestest friend', Sandy ?Sam' Morefield Sells. This is not goodbye, but later. The family of Mary Eugenia Rigsby Sells will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Monday, March, 14, 2016, in Morris-Baker Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8 pm Monday under the direction of Dr. Joe Mason, Pastor. A committal service is scheduled for 11 am Tuesday in Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Dexter Sells, Rusty Sells, Travis Letterman, Eric Sammons, Little Jimmy Rigsby, and Richard Rigsby. Family and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 10:30 am Tuesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
