Mary Katherine Headrick

Mary Katherine Headrick, 65, of 189 Ollie Collins Road, Lot # 9, Elizabethton died Monday, March 1, 2010 at her residence. Ms. Headrick was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of the late David Ray and Mary Rosenbaum Headrick. In addition to her parents one son, Kenneth Ray Greene and one sister, Betty Townsend also preceded her in death. She was a nurses aide and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: one daughter Amanda and husband Jack Smithpeters, Sr. of Elizabethton; two sons David and wife Diane Greene of Sweetwater, TN and Robert Wayne Greene of Houston, TX; one sister Ann and husband Ron Henry of Conover, NC; two brothers Donald Ray Headrick of North Carolina and Rev. Dr. Wayne L. Headrick, Sr and wife Anita of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren. The funeral service for Mary Katherine Headrick will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Dr. Wayne L. Headrick, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Jack Smithpeters, Sr., David Greene, George Perry, and Daniel Smithpeters. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 2 PM Thursday, prior to the service.
