Mary Lee Meadows, 85, of Johnson City, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Lakebridge Healthcare Center. She was born in Port Republic, Virginia, to the late Edward and Pauline Alexander-Melton. Mrs. Meadows worked as costumer for Anne Hodge School of Dance Arts and retired from employment with AT&T. She loved to travel. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by: her husband of over fifty-five years, Carrell Meadows; as well as one brother, Edward Melton, and his wife Billie. Survivors include: one son, Tony Meadows, and his wife Mary Lou; two daughters, Ronda Curtis, and her husband Robert, and Carol Lee Hunt, and her husband Simon; brother, James Melton, and his wife Wanda; six grandchildren, Jordan Osteen and her husband Jason, Britni McCall and her husband Blake, Sara Hartman and her husband David, Sasha Hunt, Xander Hunt and Sophie Hunt; two great-grandchildren, Carson Osteen and Nora Osteen; several nieces and nephews, Nikki and Brad Taylor, Diana and Curt Schwalbach, Brad and Kymbel McCoy, Flo and David Koontz, Terry and Mike Suchodolski, Bryan Figgat, Kirk Figgat, and Brent and Melissa Meadows; Sisters-in-law Iris Rimel, and her late husband, Raymond, June Means, and her late husband Leroy, and Lou McCoy, and her husband Ron; one brother-in-law, Garland Meadows and his late wife, Janice. The family of Mary Lee Meadows will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
