Mary Lou Milhorn

Mary Lou Milhorn, 95, of Johnson City, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the residence of her daughter. She was a native of Damascus, Virginia and a daughter of the late Emmitt Lewis and Virginia Caroline Rosenbaum Trent. Mary Lou was a retired employee of Leon-Ferenbach having worked for 23 years. She was baptized in the Baptist church in 1946. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a sister Nellie McCracken and two brothers Lewis and Earl Trent, her step mother, Della Maxwell Trent and a great grandson, Jacob Raymond. Mrs. Milhorn was completely devoted to her family as a mother and grandmother. She had lived in Johnson City since 1941. Survivors include: a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Bill Dunbar of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Michael Dunbar and Karen Dunbar both of Johnson City, Kimberly and Scott Raymond of Hermitage, Billy and Carla Dunbar both of Johnson City; five great grandchildren, Adam Raymond of Hermitage, Tyler, Mason, Mary and Grace Dunbar all of Johnson City; three sisters, her twin, Martha Owens of Meadowview, VA, Helen Carroll and Carolyn Price both of NC; two brothers, Billy and Jack Trent both of Damascus, VA; many nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '? Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Harold McNabb. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to time of service at 2:00 p.m. A committal service will be conducted following the funeral at the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
