Mary 'Nadine' Saults, 63, 915 E. Unaka Ave., died Monday, January 1, 2007 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Saults was born in Carter County and had lived all of her life in Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Ollie and Della Norris Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Freddie Saults, Jr., one sister, Betty Jane Hamm and one brother, Paul Bowman. Mrs. Saults had formerly attended Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was a member of the Johnson City Moose Club Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Freddie Saults; one son, Michael Saults, Unicoi and one daughter, Kathy Saults Gaddy, Johnson City; three sisters, Loretta Helderman, Granite Falls, NC, Maxine Thompson, Blountville and Nancy Cross, Bristol, TN; two brothers, Dallas Bowman, Johnson City and Dennis Bowman, Honaker, VA; five grandchildren, Ashley, Alan,Tina and Christopher Saults and Candice Gaddy and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Saults will be conducted at 8 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2007 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Paul Crowe will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Thursday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be William Gaddy, Jimmy Smiley, Christopher Saults, Alan Saults, David Carter, Clyde Barnett and Steve Morgan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
