Mary Nell Kegley

Mrs. Mary Nell Kegley, age 84 of Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Kegley was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Wesley Stewart and Nell Godsey Stewart. In addition to her parents, her husband, James M. Kegley; one brother, Bill Stewart; one sister, Linda Sue Stewart also preceded her in death. Mrs. Kegley was a homemaker and a member of the East Pine Grove Park United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, James Kegley and his wife Lori of Butler; one sister, Kathy Williams and her husband Rodney of Johnson City; six grandchildren, Brandon Kegley, Arica Kegley, James Alexander Kegley, Kelly Stepp, Danielle Silverman and Mollie McQueen; one great grandchild. The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Nell Kegley will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday, December 6, 2012, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Pastor Lon Tobin will officiate. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 11 AM Friday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be James Kegley, Phil Williams, Eric Greene, Luke Whitson, Mike Keys and Chris Turner. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM Friday to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday prior to the service and other times at the residence.
